Bailey Runkles, DO is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist.
In addition to helping women through pregnancy, labor and delivery, Dr. Runkles enjoys educating women about the intricacies of their bodies and providing preventative health measures. She likes solving unique problems and connecting with other women. She has a special interest in minimally invasive robotic surgical techniques.
Dr. Runkles also specializes in a variety of gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomies, hysteroscopy, and cervical dysplasia management. In addition, her other areas of interest include performing urogenecological procedures such as mid-urethral slings, uterosacral ligament suspension, colpocleisis, and infertility treatments. She also works with women who are having high-risk pregnancies.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. She then graduated from the Edward Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Virginia, with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dr. Runkles was born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, and Missouri (as part of a military family) and is excited to now be living and working in Eastern Idaho. She is passionate about her five dogs, and in her spare time she also enjoys spending time outdoors and baking. Her and her husband are expecting their first child in the summer of 2022.
